Recentyl, I posted a reply giving a small insight into my view of these times and my life. And now heres the article. I generally despair about these times. Deteriorating diplomatic relations, war, all the deaths....I cant help but feel like we have truly hit the bottom of world society. And, no, no one has to bite my head of for accusations; i am blaming no individual for what I am speaking of in this article, nor am i blaming a country or a political party. Throughout history, many people have been oppressed. Now, any thought of bigotry fills me with disgust. So thats why Im surprised that some people think its their turn. For example, youve heard about schools getting sued and such for having Christmas stuff up and lots of other nonsense? Well, I have also noticed that in many schools there are Hannukah decorations, and other religious holidays. Yet they remain untouched. This election, we saw John Kerry up against George W. Bush. Some said John Kerry was too far to the left. Others said George W. Bush was too far to the right. No one was just right. You know, this nation was founded upon compromise. The Constituiton is filled with compromises, including "the Great Compromise." George Washington urged compromise between people to prevent different parties. Andrew Jackson used compromise to keep the Nationalists and the States' Rights folks happy. ...

Hello and welcome! Obviously from the title, you can tell I'm a democrat and a left-handed person (however, that second part won't come up much; it was mainly a bad joke). I would like it noted, first of all, that I'm not a liberal whacko. I agree with mostly democratic policies, but I also personally feel there's such a thing as too liberal. Anyway, enjoy my site, as I like to complain about things.

Hi all. Politics aside, whos your favorite non-modern president (in other words, no president after Wilson). Mine is definetly Andrew Jackson. He did alot of good things for this country, just watch out for those Anti-Jacksonian biographies
